ACC National Muster, Warrnambool
By now most of the attendees are home after a great week at the National Muster. There has been considerable media coverage of our event in local newspapers and radio (see some of the earlier posts on this site). Warrnambool Council were very welcoming and provided substantial financial assistance by way of provision of busses, reduced site fees, etc.

They also ensured the community were aware of our muster with the publication of this article taken from the October edition of the Warrnambool Council Promenade magazine. This helped ensure we were made to feel very welcome by Warrnambool and district residents. A great event hosted by Terry and Pam Hawkins.

2019 National Muster Day 1 and we’re off and running
The morning started with the opening ceremony at the Lighthouse Theatre in town with most members opting to catch the buses provided by the Warrnambool City Council.
Our muster coordinators Terry and Pam Hawkins started us off before we heard from our Chairman Craig Humphrey and then the event was officially opened by Mayor Tony Herbert. This was followed by a lovely morning tea at the venue.
A short break for lunch and then Branch representatives met with the Board members to discuss future direction for the club. After that the Charity afternoon tea for the local Food Share was attended by a good sized crowd who heard some interesting statistics on how many families in the area have been assisted by this wonderful organisation.
The first timers attended a welcome Happy Hour with the Board while the repeat attendees held their own gathering. The night is to finish with a pizza dinner followed by a Bush Dance, a very full first day.
