Board News
- The Board has approved the Qld State Muster to be held in Bundaberg from the 14 - 20 June 2026. Information is available on the website under State Musters.
- The Board has appointed Mr. Ed Glover from Tasmania. Ed has been a member of the Tassie Travellers since joining the ACC in 2015. Ed is a past President of the Tassie Travellers and has received a Service Award.
- As mentioned last year the Branch Operational Procedures are being reviewed. It is anticipated that the proposed changes to the BOP will be available for comment in early February.
- The Chairman's Run – The Darling River will run from the 19 May - 10 June. Information is on the website.
- The Board approved the attendance at the Geelong Outdoor Living & Expo. Thanks to the team that manned the stand. A good result with new members signed up over the weekend.
- ACC membership currently stands at 1265 units.
- Tom Smith, Events Director, will be away for a short period of time. Muster applications may take a little bit longer to approve over this period. Should you have an urgent request for a Muster please contact Graham Humphreys on 0409 126 308.

- The Member Benefits program is all about creating a relationship with businesses for the benefit of both our membership (by supplying discounted accommodation and products for our members) and the businesses (by increasing foot traffic through their door).

Branch Activities
- With our branches well and truly out enjoying the scenes we have seen an increase of nearly 20% in Musters compared with the same time in 2025, well done by all the branches.
Industry News
- NRMA Parks have taken over four of the most loved Central Coast parks in NSW. NRMA now manage 50 caravan parks with the addition of the Budgewoi, Canton Beach, Norah Head and Toowoon Bay parks from the Central Coast Council. With all the parks just over one hour drive from Sydney NRMA members can take advantage of the 10% members discount. The CEO of NRMA Parks and Resorts Paul Davies is excited about the expansion of the parks, and it gives members and travellers more choices for their coastal getaways.
- Pier Caravan Park, 11 Pier Street Urangan, Harvey Bay have offered a discount to caravan club members during the months of February, March, April and May 2026 (excluding Easter) of $47.00 per night. To obtain the special rate you need to quote CC2026. The park is pet friendly and it is a great time to visit Harvey Bay. Phone 1300 743 742.
Social Media
- YouTube has been a great success for the Club. The "Australian Caravan Club National Muster 2025" video has had 4.5k views. Again, this has promoted the Club in areas that we have never been able to capture.
- Chris will be doing another two (2) videos that will go onto YouTube in the next couple of days. Each video captures the essence of the Club.
Queensland State Muster
- The Queensland State Muster will be held in the Bundaberg Showground from the 14 - 20 June 2026. Frank Casey has made the booking with more information to follow.
The Chairman's Run - The Darling River
- The Chairman's Run – Darling River will be conducted from the 19 May - 10 June 2026. Commencing in Trangie and finishing in Wentworth the “Run” will visit the iconic stations and towns along the river. With two farm stays (Rose Isle and Dunlop Station) you will need to be self-sufficient during these stays.
