PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERTS DIRTY 30TH

Can you believe it’s been 30 years since the release of the iconic film “Priscilla Queen of the Desert??”

After popping its cork for the 21 st birthday of Priscilla in the outback mining City of Broken Hill and her spiritual home - The Palace Hotel, the Silver City is ready to kick up our heels to celebrate Priscilla's Dirty 30th  Birthday, right where the filming took place.

The Broken Heel Festival boasts:

Event started in 2015 and has grown to run over a 5 day program and includes All ages Free Shows.

Event programs international and national Drag Artists plus a mix of Disco, Divas & Cabaret & some country hospitality – previous artists have included Kita Mean (Auck), Rhonda Burchmore, Hans, Joel Creasey, & Hannah Conda, Art Simone, Mo’Ju, Chrsitine Anu, Trevor Ashley, Amelia Airrhead, Kitty Glitter, Sexy Galexy Ticket holders come from around Australia and overseas to attend this event.

Event Program highlights include:

Main Street Parade – Where up to 6000 people line the main street in fabulous Priscilla Inspired outfits for that famous lap up the main drag !

Interactive screening of the film “Priscilla” – with a special Q&A from someone form the cast & crew. This year a special invitation is being made to ALL cast & drew to have a reunion.

Dance Flash Mob – In the dusty streets of the iconic Silverton

Travel and Glamping Packages available including a dedicated bus with a queen host from PlanetDwellers ex Sydney, plus discussions continue for another Stiletto Train Service Ex Sydney with NSW TrainLink.
