Travelling down the Newell Highway soon?
If so, don’t forget to call in and stay at Peak Hill Caravan Park.
The Park proudly displays an Australian Caravan Club (ACC) RVSTAY sign at its entrance. An ACC RVSTAY sign confirms our Club’s endorsement of a site.
With both powered and unpowered sites plus cabins, the Park is well shaded and sites are grassed and level. Controlled pets are welcome.
Resident owners Pauline and Leighton are very friendly, welcoming, and supporters of the ACC. ACC members are offered a 10% discount on production of their current ACC membership card.
Planning on attending the annual Parkes Elvis Festival during the second week of January? Or perhaps the Tullamore Irish Festival on 15 April 2017? Maybe the ABBA Festival at Trundle on 6 May 2017? With a shuttle bus running from Parkes to Peak Hill and Trundle only 40 minutes away, Peak Hill Caravan Park is a great place to stay if you are attending any of these festivals.
There is enough to see in Peak Hill and its surrounds to find yourself based at the Park for several days. With antique stores and galleries in its quaint and leafy main street, Peak Hill also boasts a gold mine, Big Fish Fossil Hut, Nature Walk, Flora and Fauna Reserve, Bogan Weir, recreational facilities including a golf course, bowling club, ex-services club, public swimming pool, and Australia’s first upright silo.
Nearby attractions include The Dish, Goobang National Park or the Taronga Western Plains Zoo at Dubbo.
